Dredging set for spring 2021

For several years, the county has been working toward a plan to use federal RESTORE Act funds to dredge coastal canals, beginning with Keaton Beach and the Steinhatchee boat ramp basin.

After the latest in a series of delays due to personnel changes and grant guideline revisions within the U.S. Department of Treasury, the earliest date that construction is likely to begin on the first phase of dredging is now spring 2021.
