Woman charged in fatal crash

A Mayo woman has been charged with DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide for a Nov. 10, 2019, head-on crash that happened here and claimed the life of a 33-year-old Tallahassee woman.

Katie Odessa Wimberley, 34, was arrested without incident at her home in Mayo by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Wednesday afternoon and booked at the Taylor County Jail. She is being held on a $105,000 bond.
