The Taylor County School Board drew fire Tuesday for its response – or perceived lack of – to a doctored photo circulated among students that depicted a handgun pointed at a local high school student and contained a racial slur.
A number of parents and community members expressed outrage, anger and resentment regarding how the incident was handled at all levels – school, district and law enforcement.
