The City of Perry has agreed to settle a lawsuit against former residents facing possible foreclosure on their home and property here after a city code enforcement lien gradually grew to more than $30,000.
After hearing a summary of the case from City Attorney Ray Curtis last month, the city council voted 4-0 in favor of accepting the settlement agreement, which will include the landowners paying approximately $900 in attorney fees and other costs.
