Hazel Mae Hartsfield

Mrs. Hazel Mae Hartsfield, 73, passed away on March 5, 2020. 

She was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Rebecca, Ga., to Sam Bundrick and Leona Harrelson Bundrick. 

Hazel worked as a correctional officer at Taylor Correctional Institution for eight years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles E. Hartsfield Sr., and her parents, Sam and Leona Bundrick. 

She is survived by her daughter, Christie Nettles, and her husband, Eddie, and her son, Charles E. Hartsfield Jr. 

A graveside service will be held today (Wednesday) at noon at Pineview Memorial Cemetery with Mary Starling officiating. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. To noon, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
