Knowles has spent 27 years ‘preparing for this position’

After almost three decades working in the office of Clerk of Court Annie Mae Murphy, long-time Deputy Clerk Gary Knowles has announced his intention to seek that office now that Murphy has decided to retire at the end of her current term.

Knowles began his career with the clerk’s office in 1993, being hired by Murphy soon after her election to the position of Clerk of Court.
