FDOT releases new plan to ‘enhance existing corridors’

Highway 19 is an “obvious” potential co-location option for the proposed Suncoast Connector toll road, according to Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) officials.

The FDOT recently released its initial plan, along with maps of major roadways and “areas to avoid” within the proposed Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance (M-CORES) project area.
