    Hepatitis A update

    After suffering a Hepatitis A outbreak eight months ago, Taylor County officially has zero new cases of the rare virus, according to local health officials from the Florida Department of Health (DOH).

    On August 1, 2019, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees declared a Public Health Emergency to address the increase in Hepatitis A cases in Florida due to the national outbreak.
