Habitat for Humanity seeking family for Steinhatchee build

Taylor County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a qualified family for a Habitat home-build in Steinhatchee.

The non-profit group considers three primary criteria in the selection of a family to receive a Habitat house:
• Need for adequate shelter due to substandard housing.
• Financial ability for a family to repay a 0% interest loan.
• Willingness for the family to partner with Habitat in the building of their home.

Habitat representatives will be in the Steinhatchee area two days a week starting Thursday, April 2, to hand out application packets. (Locations and times to be announced.)

The application deadline is Thursday, April 30.
