Brewfest, MoonPie Pageant, bluegrass festival postponed

The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has resulted in several major events being postponed in Taylor County, including this week’s Big Bend Brewfest, as well as the upcoming MoonPie Princess Pageant and the Florida State Bluegrass Festival.

In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, federal officials are urging people to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people. Previous guidance included events of more than 50 people.
