Brenda H. Moss

Brenda H. Moss, 65, passed away on March 16, 2020, in Perry.

Brenda was born Nov. 23, 1954, in Valdosta, Ga., to Norman H. Holt and Oma C. Wiles Holt.

Mrs. Moss was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Brenda worked as an executive assistant with State of Florida, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for 26 years.

In her spare time, Brenda liked to sew, make jewelry, bead work and do alterations for friends and family. She made her daughters bridesmaid dresses and her dress for the wedding. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her potted plants.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Oma Holt.

Mrs. Moss is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Charles Moss; her children, Tony (Crystal) Holt, and Chrissy (David) Singletary; her brothers, Acey (June) Holt and Roger (Cindy) Holt; her sister, Rita O’Steen; four grandchildren, Anthony, Donnie, Dustin and Courtney; and five step-grandchildren, Dalten, Katlyn, Destiny, Robert and Dashaun; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Carlton Cemetery with Pastor Wallace Holmes officiating. A lunch will be provided at Boyd Methodist Church after the service.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
