Car vs. building

Business operations at Reflection’s Hair Salon, located in downtown Perry, came to a screeching halt Thursday morning, after a two-car collision resulted in a vehicle crashing into the front door of the salon.

The Perry Fire Department, Perry Police Department and Doctors’ Memorial Hospital emergency medical technicians (EMTs) quickly arrived on scene to assist the driver of the gold Ford Taurus that was parked with its nose just inside the entrance of the Reflection’s Hair Salon.

Firefighters and good Samaritans pushed the car backward to allow the driver’s door, which was pinned shut by a tree, to be opened so EMTs could assess any injuries. No serious injuries were reported by either driver involved.
