Karen Dee Goodman

Mrs. Karen Dee Goodman, 58, passed away after a long battle with cancer, on March 20, 2020, at her home in Perry. She was surrounded by her family. Karen was born October 30, 1961, in Perry, Florida to Claud L. Hart Jr. and Betty Shaw Hart.

Karen loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Claud L. and Betty Hart, and her youngest brother Kevin Hart.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years Mr. Larry Goodman; children Erica (David) Smith Cody Edwards, Wade (Kristy) Goodman, Wendy (Brian) Parker, Angie (Scott) Bembry; grandchildren Zachery, Kinsey, Brianna, Ella, Layla, Matthew, Claire, Christian, Brady, Anna Grace, and Trevor; brothers Wyatt (Ruth) Hart, Kenny Hart, John Hart, one sister Laura (Henry) Lee as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
