A number of organizations in Taylor County are assisting citizens who may be financially unable to attain food.
First United Methodist Food Pantry
First United Methodist Food Pantry will open a drive-thru food pantry staffed by volunteers each Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until all food is distributed. Donations are picked up at the Quincy Farm Share. Call 850-843-4834 to confirm continued distribution.
St. James Episcopal Church
St. James Episcopal Church will be open the second Thursday of each month. Call 850-584-7636 to confirm continued distribution.
Community Church of Perry
Community Church of Perry will be open the third Thursday of the month. Call 850-597-4626 to confirm continued distribution.
Taylor County School District
The Taylor County School System is distributing food to assist in feeding children (who are enrolled with the Taylor County School District as students) through the USDA each Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. until at least April 15.
Meals can be picked up at the schools.

Taylor Senior Citizen Center
The Taylor County Senior Center will be distributing hot meals to anyone over the age of 60.
In order to receive these meals, please contact the Senior Center first at 850-584-4924.
The Taylor County Senior Center urges you to not show up at the facility until you have called in advance.
Taylor County Boys & Girls Clubs
The B&G Club is open Monday through Friday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at all Taylor County locations to any child needing a meal.
