License-free fishing days set for April 4-5

License-free fishing days provide an excellent opportunity for those who don’t yet have a fishing license to experience fishing, take youth fishing or for avid anglers to introduce a friend to fishing without having to purchase a license.

The first weekend in April — which falls on April 4-5, as well as the second consecutive Saturday and Sunday of June, will be the upcoming license-free fishing days in the state of Florida.
