Property tax due date is extended

Under direction given by Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR), Taylor County Tax Collector Mark Wiggins has announced that the due date for property taxes has been moved from March 31 to April 15.

“We worked together with the Florida Tax Collector’s Association, Department of Revenue and the Governor’s office to change the date on current taxes from the normal March 31 to April 15th,” Wiggins said.
