The question of whether to close the county’s public boat ramps has become an increasingly divisive issue, resulting in two Taylor County commissioners reporting they received “threats” via the phone or e-mail this week.
Commissioner Malcolm Page reported the threat he received during Wednesday evening’s emergency board meeting, during which the commission reversed its decision from last week and voted to close the ramps indefinitely.
