Jackie Wayne Carroll

Jackie Wayne Carroll died Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was 80.

Born Dec. 25, 1938, Jackie Carroll worked at Tri-County Electric for more than 30 years as a lineman and served as supervisor chairman of the Florida Forest Festival fish fry for more than 10 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Perry and the Perry Elks Club.

He loved fishing, driving his tractor, Florida State University (FSU) football, NASCAR (#24) and being at his son’s business at Jack’s Boats and Trailers.

Jackie is preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel and Dorothy Carroll; his brother, Anthony Carroll; and sister, Linda Wiltsey.

Jackie is survived by: his sweet bride and the love of his life of 63 years, Dixie Pauline Carroll; son, Waymond E. Carroll (Teri); daughter, Toni Carroll-Hicks (Don); sister-in-law, Jo Carroll; and a host of nieces and nephews along with his many friends.
