Gillyard receives a two-sport scholarship to play at FVSU

Tailor Gillyard was the only senior of the 2020 class at Taylor County High School (TCHS) to sign a dual-sport scholarship, as she committed to playing both softball and volleyball at the collegiate level for Fort Valley State University (FVSU).

As a softball player for TCHS through three seasons, Tailor sports a .280 batting average, as well as a 411% on base percentage (OBP). Gillyard has knocked in 21 runs so far during her tenure at TCHS, while scoring 42 times herself.
