The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) recently received a supply of personal protective equipment thanks to donations from several local community members.
TCSO deputies received 36 protective handmade fabric facemasks sewn by Brenda Sellers of Gigi’s Sewing and Embroidery and delivered by Karen Tidwell and Ursula Miller on behalf of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #291 in Steinhatchee, as well as 22 boxes (100-count) of latex disposable gloves and 22 bottles of anti-microbial disinfectant donated by Dr. Miles Owens of Owens Animal Hospital, Studstill’s Lumber and Danny and Michele McLeod, who helped arrange for and deliver the sterilization and protective equipment.
