William Edward “Ed” Harmon

Mr. William Edward “Ed” Harmon, 68, passed away on April 11, 2020, in Perry.

He was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Charleston, W. Va., to Mr. Charles Edward Harmon and Jeanette Wiley Harmon.

Ed was a huge Gator fan and loved all sports. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles and Jeanette Harmon; brother, Ricky Scott Harmon; and sisters, Alma K. Vann and Sherry Sadler.

He is survived by: his brother, Terry Wayne Harmon (Alina); nephew, Bruce Sherwood; and nieces Rebecca McIntosh and Geneva Vann; as well as a host of cousins.

A private family service will be held at a later date. He will be interred in Pisgah Cemetery.
