New extension agent ready to help Taylor County residents, farmers

When Lisa Strange applied for and was selected to fill the open agricultural and natural resources agent position with the Taylor County Extension Office, she had no idea she would be starting her new job in the midst of stay-at-home orders and a global pandemic.

Although she is still in her first week on the job, it is clear she’s not letting that stop her from hitting the ground running — while working from home and minding social distancing, of course.
