Expired car tag leads to drug arrest

A cache of illegal drugs – including cannabis, MDMA (ecstasy) and methamphetamine – was discovered following a routine traffic stop Sunday night triggered by an expired temporary tag.

Perry Police Department (PPD) Sgt. Joel Mailly spotted the temporary tag on a silver Monte Carlo driven by Teaven Singleton, 28, around 9:50 p.m. on Warner Avenue.
