FDOT will hold webinar on Suncoast Parkway Connector April 30

The Suncoast Connector Task Force has been forced to cancel its second meeting in a row due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, however local residents will have a chance to receive an update and submit public comment via an online webinar Thursday, April 30.

The proposed 150-mile toll road will likely pass through Taylor County if it is built, and the 41-member task force — which includes Taylor County Commission Chair Pam Feagle — has been meeting since last fall to discuss the project and develop guiding principles for state officials to use when designing any possible routes.
