Boat Ramp debate revisited on May 4

One month after the Taylor County Commission voted to close all county-controlled public boat ramps in response to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the issue remains a heated subject of debate.

The commission will revisit the issue at its next meeting, which is set for Monday, May 4, at 6 p.m. Due to the outbreak, the meeting will be broadcast live on Facebook, and a teleconference line will be available for the public to provide comments.
