Hampton Springs Park was the victim of vandalism recently and county officials say they have turned over information to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office for investigation. According to officials, unknown offenders removed a fence separating the parking lot from the rest of the park and proceeded to drive through the facility, leaving deep ruts throughout the property and damaging some of the historical features remaining from the former Hotel Hampton.
