O’Connor also punched cuffed suspect in 2016

Last week marked the second time in four years former Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Sgt. Michael O’Connor has resigned after allegedly punching a handcuffed suspect.

On March 24, 2016, O’Connor resigned his position as a Seminole County Sheriff’s deputy just three days after being suspended in the aftermath of being caught on camera punching a handcuffed suspect in the back seat of his patrol car.
