Deputies were present due to altercation

The 28-year-old Perry woman at the center of a misdemeanor battery case brought against a former Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) sergeant was physically aggressive toward officers and others at the time of her arrest on April 15.

Lt. Rusty Davis, Deputy Benji Dorman and then-Sgt. Mike O’Connor were dispatched to a residence on Highway 27 East in reference to a physical disturbance.
