U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has announced the allocation of $300 million in fisheries assistance funding provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, with $23.6 million allocated to Florida.
The funding will be divided between 31 states, tribes and territories with coastal and marine fishery participants who have been negatively affected by the coronavirus (COVID–19) outbreak.
