Steinhatchee Community Fishing Tournament has been canceled

The Steinhatchee Community Fishing Tournament was originally slated to take place back in April, but was postponed until May 30 due to COVID-19.

The annual event was then canceled on May 7 with the following message being released by the Steinhatchee Community Fishing Tournament Facebook page on the same day: “Unfortunately due to the uncertainty of when our country will allow large groups to socialize again, we have decided to cancel this year’s Steinhatchee Community Center Fishing Tournament. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their continuous support, as their generous donations benefit the funding of scholarships and community projects. We are looking forward to a great turnout next year on our usual weekend!”
