‘Virtual’ ceremony to mark Memorial Day observance

Taylor County’s annual salute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in freedom’s name will be filmed at Veterans Memorial Park early Memorial Day morning, May 25, and then shared with the community on social media.

“This year’s observance is going to be virtual due to the current coronavirus crisis,” said Judge Greg Parker, who is coordinating the ceremony along Tax Collector Mark Wiggins.
