State approves Taylor County’s ‘vacation safety plan’ allowing short-term rentals

State officials have approved Taylor County’s “vacation safety plan,” allowing short-term vacation rentals in the county – as long as certain measures are met by the property owners.

Short-term vacation rentals had previously been banned as part of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ executive orders in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
