Paving projects abound

With site preparation work currently underway on Foley Cut-Off Road and about to begin on Houck Road, the county has advanced three other state-funded resurfacing projects to the design phase.

Design work for the Gas Plant Road and Slaughter Road resurfacing projects were outsourced, while the design work for Cedar Island Road will be completed in-house by county engineering staff, Cedar Island Road surveying work will be contracted out.
