Despite the challenges Taylor County High School (TCHS) seniors and faculty faced during the last nine weeks of the 2019-20 school year due to the COVID-19 crisis, both emerged stronger as a result of the turmoil. That was the message TCHS Principal Heather McCoy shared as graduation celebrations drew to a close with formal ceremonies held Friday, May 29, at Dorsett Stadium.
Looking ahead to the coming school year, McCoy said, “My goal is to make TCHS a school that our community can be proud of. One that our students will represent in all their endeavors — academically, athletically, personally and as stewards in our community and beyond — because community support is crucial to our success.”
