    2018 water samples land city in hot water

    In addition to implementing several modifications at its water treatment plant, the City of Perry is being required to conduct additional water quality samples and publish a public notice as part of a consent order with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).

    The consent order is a result of City of Perry water samples containing higher-than-allowed levels of organic byproducts resulting from treating the water with chlorine back in 2018.
