Cristobal dumps 9 inches of rain here

Although Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall in southeastern Louisiana, much of the weather associated with the disorganized system was located far east of its center, resulting in some areas of Taylor County receiving more than nine inches of rain over the weekend.

However, there has been little flooding reported, according to local officials.
