Driver escapes serious injuries in Friday crash

The 20-year-old driver of a pickup escaped with just minor injuries after his truck flipped on its roof Friday, June 5, on Hwy. 19 South near the intersection with Beach Road.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the vehicle was reportedly stopped in the median of Hwy. 19 and Beach Road when the driver attempted to enter the southbound travel lane.
