Although qualifying for city candidates concluded Monday, those wishing to run in local county races, as well as for seats in the Florida Legislature, have until this Friday, June 12, at 12 noon to qualify to be on the 2020 ballot.
“We’ve had quite a few county candidates already come in to qualify,” Taylor County Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland said Monday afternoon. “About half have come in. Of course, there’s still time for new candidates. If they want to run, they just need to pay the fee.”
