Mr. John Dwayne Yarbrough, 80, passed away on June 15, 2020, in Tallahassee. John was born October 3, 1939, in Bonifay to Abraham Lincoln Yarbrough and Laura Huggins Yarbrough.
After honorably serving our country in the United States Army he attended and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Accounting. He established his CPA practice in Perry in 1973 and was a long time member of the business community in Perry. He attended First United Methodist Church of Perry.
He is survived by: his wife of 56 years Mary Yarbrough; children Scott Yarbrough and his wife Leigh, Marc Yarbrough and his wife Laurie, and Greg Yarbrough; five granddaughters; two brothers Coleman and Kelly Yarbrough, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Pineview Memorial Cemetery with Bro. James Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home of Madison or the Florida State University Foundation.
