Bar fight leads to charges for two women

Two Taylor County women were arrested early Sunday morning after a parking lot fight at Crabbie Dad’s resulted in charges of disorderly intoxication, battery on a law enforcement officer and striking a victim with a vehicle.

Around 1 a.m. on June 14, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Amanda Schram was assisting Crabbie Dad’s’ employees with clearing a crowd of people out of the establishment so it could close for the night when a man told Schram a fight was occurring outside. According to Schram’s report, she ran outside to the bar parking lot, where she saw “several females” fighting in front of a black vehicle.
