Old Kmart used to ship chips

The long-vacant former Kmart building on U.S. Hwy. 19 is now showing signs of life, as the local Super-Pufft Snacks USA plant has recently began leasing the large facility to serve as a distribution warehouse.

On Monday, several semi-tractor trailers were being loaded under
a Big Top Manufacturing fabric structure erected at the main front entrance of the building located at 1809 S. Byron Butler Parkway to protect employees and goods from the weather.
