Cops caught in act rendering aid to elderly man

Three local law enforcement officers and a good Samaritan were caught on camera in the act – the act of kindness – this past week.

Perry Police Department (PPD) Sgt. Matt Smith and Ptl. Trace Chaffin, along with Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Sgt. Robby Ricketson, responded to a call at Mama’s Italian Restaurant Tuesday, June 9, after Joel Baldree reported an elderly man with Parkinson’s disease was unable to walk.
