John “Rick” Richard Thomas

John “Rick” Richard Thomas, 66, passed away June 18, 2020, in Perry.

John was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Orlando to John Ronald Thomas and Della Bell Hudnal Thomas.

He was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. John worked as a self-employed automotive painter for more than 25 years. He loved racing, fishing and football.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Ronald Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Lisa Thomas; his daughter, Amanda Thomas; five sons, Patrick, Jeffery, Daniel, Ricky and Michael Thomas; his mother, Della Hudnal; three brothers, Doug Thomas, Dewayne Thomas and Eddie Davis; and two grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
