Should county install red light at Deadman’s Curve?

Taylor County commissioners are continuing their efforts to make Deadman’s Curve safer following another fatal crash at the sharp turn located on Beach Road over the recent Memorial Day weekend.

Commissioners discussed the issue at the county’s June 1 meeting, asking for an update on the county’s efforts to purchase enough property to straighten the curve, as well as proposing a stop light be installed as an alternative, short-term solution.
