McLeod seeks sheriff star

The accountability of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) begins with the sheriff, and William “Danny” McLeod states that he “would never take the duties and responsibilities entrusted to this office for granted,” as he announced his candidacy for sheriff.

“The sheriff has many duties and responsibilities, but there is none more important than the protection of our children, families and our communities. To accomplish this, we must develop a diversified, pro-active department with strong leadership and a foundation that is based on integrity and accountability – with officers that are responsible, respectful and fully committed to serving and protecting the citizens of our communities,” McLeod said.
