Scalloping is now open all along Taylor County’s coastline, and scallopers can harvest their full bag limit.
More than half of the county’s coast opened for scalloping on June 15, and the remaining northern portion opened July 1. While the first two weeks of the early season saw bag limits reduced by half (one gallon per person per day), the regular bag limit is now in place.
