New Florida laws took effect July 1

While 2020 has already brought many new “normals” to a far-from-normal year, the Florida Legislature has passed a number of new laws that took effect Wednesday, July 1.

Out of the 3,500 bills filed by Florida lawmakers, the legislature passed 191, although Gov. Ron DeSantis has not yet signed all of them.
