COVID-19 cases total 116

Taylor County’s total positive coronavirus cases climbed to 116 as of the Department of Health’s (DOH) 11 a.m. update Thursday — a jump of 14 from Tuesday’s reported 102 cases.

While the number of positive cases continued to rise, the county’s hospitalization and death rates held steady at eight hospitalizations and one death since the first case was reported on April 6, 2020.
