‘Handwritten’ vote-by-mail postcard causes confusion

A seemingly handwritten postcard encouraging voters to vote by mail has been prompting questions about its origin and whether it was sent by state or local elections officials.

“We have had several voters call concerning a handwritten postcard that apparently started hitting mailboxes [in late June],” Taylor County Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland said.
