How will COVID-19 affect revenues?

With much uncertainty surrounding projected sales and gas tax revenues due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Taylor County Commission is set to hold its first workshop on Monday to craft its 2020-21 budget.

Each July, the Florida Office of Economic & Demographic Research (EDR) releases annual tax revenue projections, and local governments use those figures to establish their budgets for the next fiscal year.
